Head Nurse / Head of Ward Geriatric Psychiatry 80-100%

In our geriatric psychiatry ward with currently 16 beds, elderly people, usually from the age of 65, are treated. The focus is on the diagnosis, therapy and prevention of mental illnesses that can accompany ageing or be triggered by age-related processes. With a great deal of empathy, leadership skills and the necessary expertise, you take responsibility for the professional and personnel management of the ward. You steer and further develop the nursing processes and, together with your team, ensure professional, patient-oriented and appreciative care of our patients in geriatric psychiatry.

• You create the staff deployment planning and ensure demand-oriented duty scheduling.
• Collaboration and networking with internal and external interfaces
• Commitment to further training as well as public relations work

• Completed training as a certified nursing specialist HF with a focus on psychiatry. A CAS relevant to geriatric psychiatry, in gerontological nursing or an equivalent further qualification.
• Several years of professional experience, ideally in a leadership role.
