Deputy Head of Construction, 100% (all genders)

You bring solid experience in building construction, enjoy customer contact, and want to develop into a responsible leadership position in the long term? Then this position offers you an exciting prospect within a clearly defined succession plan.

What will your role be with us?

• Assuming the deputy role of Head of Construction and gradually taking on additional areas of responsibility
• Targeted induction and further training with the aim of taking over the role of Head of Construction within the succession plan in about three years
• Professional and personal advice to our corporate clients in the field of construction insurance
• Management and development of the corresponding insurance portfolios
• Maintaining and expanding relationships with internal and external clients as well as other contacts
• Active collaboration with various internal specialist departments and teams

What do you bring?

• Training as a certified building foreman or building supervisor, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of practical professional experience in building construction
• Experience and enjoyment in direct customer interaction as well as a strong service orientation
• A convincing, engaging personality with confident demeanour and strong communication skills
• Interest in diverse and sometimes complex topics such as insurance, legal frameworks, and digital technologies
• Very good oral and written German skills; additional language skills, especially English and French, are an advantage
• Confident use of common Microsoft applications and openness to new digital tools and possibilities, especially in the field of artificial intelligence
• High personal responsibility, independent and reliable working style, and enthusiasm for tackling new tasks and challenges
• Team spirit, commitment, and willingness to take on responsibility
