Laboratory Weighing (LabTec) is a Global Business Area of METTLER TOLEDO. Our employees develop, produce, and market highly precise instruments to enable our customers to achieve the greatest possible benefit in their demanding application areas. At our global, operational headquarters in Nänikon-Greifensee, we are looking for a dynamic, innovative person for our Electronic Design Team within R&D as an Electrical Engineer 100% (all genders). In this role, you will take on the following tasks: In the research and development department, you are responsible for the development of analog and digital circuits as well as electromechanical assemblies from functional prototypes to series production. You develop the foundations and technologies for future solutions, systems, and modules within the framework of preliminary studies and in collaboration with universities. You are responsible for integrating new components into market-ready products and advise product management when starting projects and sketching new products. You are responsible for conducting, evaluating, and documenting tests and measurement series and accompany the approval processes (Safety, EMC, and OIML) from a technical perspective. You support quality and production issues and take on tasks within the scope of product maintenance and the technical change process (ECM). You support the industrialization process of new products using modern ECAD, PLM, or ERP systems. You take on the management of subprojects as well as preliminary studies and accompany external development partners such as universities.
