Network Security Engineer

What tasks you will take on

  • Ensuring the stable and secure operation of the Europe-wide LAN and WAN infrastructure
  • Handling faults in 2nd and 3rd level support
  • Creating technical concepts, system overviews and comprehensive documentation
  • Planning and carrying out changes and system maintenance (remotely and on site)

What you bring with you

  • Professional training in computer science or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in operating WAN, LAN and WLAN infrastructures, preferably on Cisco portfolio (Meraki, Classic and Nexus) or Fortigate firewalls
  • Experience with security solutions (Cisco ISE, NAC, Web Proxy)
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python is an advantage
  • Independent working style and enjoyment of cross-team collaboration
  • High quality and security awareness
  • Very good German skills and good English skills
  • Willingness to participate in on-call duty
