Are you an experienced DevOps engineer looking for the ideal combination of software development and system engineering and automation? Then you are in the right place.

At the interface between software development and system engineering, you actively participate in our exciting web portal and web application projects while always keeping the focus on all system-related tasks.

Customer, project manager, designer, developer, and system engineers work hand in hand with us. You support the team in all project phases and actively contribute your know-how as a Java, web, and DevOps specialist. In addition to project work, you work on the further development of our standards and actively follow market trends.

What to expect

• You independently or as part of a team realize demanding and technologically leading solutions based on Java and Liferay Digital Experience Platform
• Software development and implementation in the environment of backend and service architectures in cooperation with our frontend developers
• Advise and support our developers in the implementation of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery and Deployment (based on Atlassian Bitbucket & Bamboo)
• Co-design automation and development in a modern cloud computing environment (CloudStack)

What you should bring

• Computer scientist FH/HF or equivalent education
• At least 2 years of professional experience as a Java / web developer
• Outstanding knowledge in Java development and service-oriented software architectures
• Solid knowledge in automation with Ansible
• System engineering experience in a Linux environment
• You convince with your open source know-how
• Solution- and customer-oriented with a high sense of responsibility and quality awareness
• Confident German and English skills for communication with English-speaking developers
