The Office for Youth and Career Counselling Canton of Zurich, branch office for the districts of Affoltern, Dietikon, Horgen, is a cantonal centre of expertise offering professional support in the areas of family/youth and career counselling. The Child and Youth Welfare Centre (kjz) is a counselling centre for families, parents, young people, children and toddlers, operating on the basis of the Child and Youth Welfare Act of the Canton of Zurich.

Tasks
You advise and support children, young people and parents within the framework of child protection measures in case management as well as on a voluntary basis. In addition, you carry out assessments in cases of suspected child welfare endangerment. Intensive collaboration with family systems, authorities, schools as well as other institutions and specialist agencies is important to us. Furthermore, your input and suggestions for the further development of our kjz Horgen are welcome.
Profile
You have a degree in Social Work (FH) and bring experience in youth and family support. We are looking for a solution-oriented and resilient personality with strong social skills, an appreciative attitude and enjoyment of teamwork. Administrative tasks as well as the preparation of reports and case notes come easily to you.
