Office for Health
Scientific Employee, fixed-term until 31 July 2027, 80 - 100%
The Office for Health ensures a high-quality and economically sustainable healthcare provision in the Canton of Zurich. It guarantees seamless medical treatment and care and promotes the health of the Zurich population.
The Department of Care Planning plans and manages healthcare provision in the canton. To this end, it procures services according to demand, monitors their delivery, and promotes treatment quality.
As maternity cover, we are looking for a scientific employee, 80-100%, from 1 January 2027 and fixed-term until 31 July 2027.
Tasks
As part of the cover, you will work on topics related to coordinated and outpatient primary care, especially in the areas of general practice and junior staff promotion. Your tasks include responding to enquiries and political motions and preparing decision-making bases in the form of target group-appropriate memoranda or presentations. You will work closely with various specialists from the office as well as from external organisations in day-to-day business and projects. You will also participate in working group meetings and organise them if necessary, including the substantive preparation and follow-up.
Requirements
We are looking for a motivated, independent, and reliable individual with a master’s degree in health sciences, public health, health economics, biomedicine, political science, or a related field. You are well acquainted with the Swiss healthcare system. Your oral and written expression in German is excellent. Additionally, you have a quick grasp, think in networks, and can approach complex matters in a structured and goal-oriented manner. An affinity for data is a plus. You enjoy familiarising yourself with new topics and tasks and gladly take on responsibility. Challenges motivate you. As a person, you are personable and enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team.
Offer
We offer an interesting and varied role at the heart of healthcare, where medicine, economics, and law intersect. You will gain broad insight into administrative work, exciting projects, and healthcare policy. We are a motivated team and foster a cooperative working atmosphere. Your workplace is centrally located near Zurich main station.
