BFF Kompetenz Bildung Bern is the leading intercultural education center for the topics: bridging offers, care, health, hotel and household management, childhood pedagogy, social pedagogy, facility management, and further education. 5800 people from over 80 different nations work and learn at the school.
In the Vocational Education department, adolescents and adults are taught the 2- and 3-year basic vocational training programs in the professional fields of care, health, and hotel and household management. Additionally, the annual general education course for adults is offered. Our learners attend practical and competence-oriented lessons. Around 100 teachers accompany a total of over 2400 learners on their path to a successful professional qualification. Become one of them!

Tasks
Teaching in our youth training programs across a total of 3 classes; for the care professionals EFZ; working days: Monday, Thursday, Friday
You provide vocational studies lessons in the subject of care and animation (BK 1) according to the school curriculum. Your teaching is action competence-oriented and takes situational didactics into account. You are part of a committed team and actively contribute to subject and school development.
Requirements
As a trained vocational school teacher for vocational studies, you have teaching experience or are willing to complete training at the Swiss Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (EHB). You possess solid professional competencies (e.g., HF Childhood Pedagogy) and have experience in the care sector (daycare centers, day schools). You are characterized by high initiative, can handle different learning prerequisites, and enjoy working with learners. Differentiated instruction, language-sensitive didactics, individual learning support, and proficient use of blended learning are strengths of your teaching. You professionally address behavioral issues in adolescence and generational conflicts. You bring a willingness for proactive, interdisciplinary collaboration within the subject group and the entire department. A large part of your working time is spent on-site exchanging with your team colleagues.
