About the job

Since 1956, the Brunau Foundation has been offering services for people with special support needs. It employs around 50 staff, trains over 75 apprentices annually (in commercial, logistics and ICT fields), and provides sheltered workplaces for more than 30 people. Through customer orders and internships in the primary labour market, apprentices are prepared for working life and supported by practical trainers and job coaches. IV-supported trainees can make use of socially pedagogically supervised or accompanied housing options. The Giesshübel office has sheltered office workplaces for people with an IV pension who have a performance limitation.

Your tasks

• Comprehensive support and care of clients in the areas of Supported Education, Supported Employment, integration workplaces or other measures
• Individual coaching of clients at the workplace and during job search
• Promotion of clients’ social, professional and methodological skills
• Collaboration / participation / conducting discussions with parents, teachers, employers, social insurance offices, therapists, doctors, etc.
• Acquisition of partner companies and jobs in the private sector
• Collaboration and coaching of partner companies
• General administrative tasks as well as taking on additional tasks as needed and suitable

Your profile

• Proven experience and training in job coaching or Supported Employment / Supported Education, professional qualification in the social field (FH/HF) advantageous
• Enjoyment and experience in acquisition as well as talent for networking
• Very good communication skills (oral and written)
• Empathy and persuasiveness as well as perseverance
• Flexibility, patience, high social skills
• Resilient, sociable and conflict-capable personality
• Independent work organisation
• Knowledge of social insurance, the education system and the Swiss labour market
• Very good IT skills
