The Logistics Base of the Swiss Army (LBA) is there for the troops. It provides all logistical services for the Swiss Army and manages the materials, systems, and infrastructures of the Swiss Army with its approximately 3,500 employees and 12,000 militia members. Whether automotive mechatronics technician, specialist in the alarm center, or project manager in interactive media: the LBA offers a wide range of jobs across Switzerland.
The Swiss Army employs over 9,000 employees in four military and around 200 civilian professions – and this at 140 locations across Switzerland. There is also provision for the next generation: the Swiss Army trains apprentices in over 30 professions.
