With over 90 employees, we develop and manufacture motors and generators for special applications with power ratings up to 50 MW for renowned customers worldwide. Our technical purchasing department ensures the procurement of all technical goods and services for our projects with the desired quality, on time, and cost-effectively. For this team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a Technical Buyer (m/f/d) 100% at our location in Kleindöttingen.

Main tasks:

Your main task is the procurement of all components and services for our projects – from request for quotation to invoice approval. This is done in close cooperation with the technical department and project managers. In detail, this means:

• Independent execution of project purchasing for all components
• Obtaining, comparing, and negotiating quotations
• Issuing orders and obtaining order confirmations
• Proactive monitoring of delivery dates
• Coordination between suppliers, technical department, project management, and production to ensure timely delivery and the desired quality
• Handling of complaints and claims
• Supporting strategic purchasing with active feedback on suppliers

Our desired profile:

• Professional experience in project purchasing or technical purchasing and proven success in negotiations with suppliers
• Successfully completed technical or commercial vocational training, ideally with further education in purchasing
• Good knowledge of handling technical drawings and specifications
• Enjoyment in contact with suppliers as well as a structured and reliable working style
• Very good German skills and good English skills in spoken and written form
• Good user knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
• SAP knowledge is an advantage
• Team-oriented, communicative, and committed personality
