We are expanding our purchasing team and look forward to welcoming a new, experienced team member for purchasing.

Your tasks

Independent procurement of materials from inquiry to invoice verification based on demand requirements from the ERP system

Ensuring timely and cost-effective material availability for production and operations

Monitoring and tracking orders as well as handling delivery deviations, complaints and 8D reports

Obtaining and evaluating offers as well as conducting price, condition and contract negotiations

• Support, evaluation and further development of existing suppliers as well as building new national and international partnerships
• Maintenance and updating of ERP, supplier and article data
• Participation in inventories and support of efficient warehouse management
• Involvement in the optimisation of purchasing processes, supplier evaluations as well as Lean and KVP projects
• Close cooperation with production, AVOR and other internal interfaces

Your expertise

• Completed commercial or technical basic education, as well as further training as a Certified Purchasing Specialist (federal diploma)

At least 3 years of experience in purchasing and in a comparable role

Solid knowledge of ERP systems and confident use of MS Office

• Experience in negotiating with suppliers as well as in drafting contracts, ideally in the machinery, plant or production environment
• Analytical thinking with a strong strategic orientation

Excellent German and good English skills
