Specialist in Special Education

The Special Education Office is part of the Special Education department within the Office for Primary Schools and ensures, in cooperation with internal specialists as well as regular and special schools, the placement management for all cantonal special education programs. • Consider and decide on special education status based on the school psychology and speech therapy report
• Assign separate special education places and review and coordinate integrative special education programs
• Maintain monitoring of available places within and outside the canton
• Prepare official decisions
• Advise internal and external bodies on special education matters
• Contribute know-how and ideas in working groups and committees
• Further develop quality in the specialist office and department

You have a degree in remedial education, school psychology, or a closely related field, are familiar with the Swiss school system, and are eager to deepen your expertise in special education. Your key skills include interconnected thinking, a trustworthy demeanor, and enjoyment of communication and cooperation. You are also proficient in handling digital tools.
