Architect (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF105,000 - 110,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced individual as Architect / Project Manager for the comprehensive handling of demanding building construction projects in the Bern region. You will accompany projects from the initial idea through design, approval procedures, and execution planning to realisation and handover. You will take responsibility for architectural planning, coordinate authorities, specialist planners and contractors, and keep an eye on deadlines, costs and quality. The position combines independent project management with operational architectural work and direct client consultation.
Responsibilities:
Independent handling and management of architectural projects across all relevant planning and realisation phases
Development and further processing of concept, project and execution plans for new build and renovation projects
Preparation and coordination of building applications, approval documents and building law evidence
Clarification and assurance of compliance with building and planning law, relevant SIA standards as well as cantonal and municipal requirements
Coordination of specialist planners, authorities, contractors and other project participants as well as management of planning interfaces
Preparation of tender and submission documents, conducting offer comparisons and participation in awarding contracts
Assumption or support of construction management and control of plan- and contract-compliant execution on site
Responsibility for schedule planning, cost control and quality assurance during planning and realisation
Consultation and support of the client on design, technical, economic and building law issues
Preparation and coordination of working, detail and execution plans with ArchiCAD and/or Vectorworks
Organisation of acceptances, defect management and project documentation up to successful handover
Qualifications:
Completed architecture studies at FH, ETH or university level
Several years of professional experience in design and realisation of building construction projects in Switzerland
Sound knowledge of Swiss building and planning law; knowledge of procedures and regulations in the Canton of Bern is an advantage
Experience in execution planning, tendering, awarding and construction management
Very good user skills in ArchiCAD and/or Vectorworks
Good knowledge of relevant SIA standards as well as Swiss planning and approval procedures
Very good German language skills spoken and written
