You are looking for a challenge where you can apply your skills in cyber security. In this role, you take responsibility for analysing security alerts and implementing preventive protection measures. You actively participate in customer projects and configure solutions yourself to resolve security issues. You have the opportunity to consolidate and expand your knowledge in the area of prevention by testing solutions and troubleshooting. You are given freedom to try new approaches and independently carry out tasks.
Responsibilities:
You analyse security alerts, investigate suspicious activities, and oversee the handling of security incidents.
You implement protection projects in on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments and conduct technical acceptance tests.
You assess vulnerabilities, prioritise risks, and support customers in sustainably securing their systems.
You operate and optimise a central security platform, analyse operational issues, and provide technical insights to development.
You further develop detection rules and playbooks and automate recurring analyses with PowerShell and KQL.
Qualifications:
You have an IT education or comparable qualification and initial practical experience in system engineering or cyber security.
You are familiar with Windows Server/Clients, Active Directory, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 and understand their interaction.
You have practical experience with hardening, endpoint protection, identity security, or security monitoring.
Ideally, you have experience with Microsoft Defender XDR, Sentinel, PowerShell, or KQL and want to further expand your knowledge.
You work carefully and reliably, communicate clearly with customers, and remain analytical and solution-oriented even with complex security issues.
