Senior ICT System Engineer (m/f/d)
Role:
You are looking for a new challenge as an ICT System Engineer where you can apply your skills and experience to develop and operate complex systems. In this role, you take responsibility for the planning, implementation, and maintenance of ICT systems. You are responsible for the security and quality of the systems and ensure they meet the requirements. You bring in your professional experience to develop innovative solutions and continuously improve the systems. You are an important part of the team and contribute to ensuring the systems run efficiently and reliably.
Responsibilities:
You support medium-sized customers as a technical contact for modern IT infrastructures.
You design and implement individual customer projects around servers, virtualisation, and networks.
You implement protection solutions for firewalls, end devices, and company data.
You further develop the in-house cloud platform and introduce new technologies into operations.
You handle complex faults and problem cases at 2nd and 3rd level and continuously improve the offered services.
Qualifications:
You have an IT education or a comparable technical qualification with practical ICT experience.
You have sound knowledge of server environments and virtualisation.
You are familiar with network architectures, firewall technologies, and modern security concepts.
You work independently, solution-oriented, and responsibly and enjoy exploring new topics.
You convince through flexibility, helpfulness, and strong communication skills in the customer environment.
