The Schwarzenburg Social Service is still looking for a social worker! But it is different from what you probably think:

The past eventful months have shaped us positively and we are an upbeat, versatile and motivated team, which will be led by a co-management from January 2027. In the areas of social assistance and child and adult protection (KES), we are guided by specialists. The experienced case management supports us. Our attractive office premises are located in a rustic-modern building.

To complete our team, we are looking for a

Social Worker

(Employment level 80 – 90 %)

Your main tasks

Social assistance

• Clarification, assessment and granting of social assistance benefits
• Advice and support for social assistance recipients
• Preventive advice to provide information, networking and counselling for those seeking help

Child and adult protection

• Mandate management of adults and minors
• Clarification of risk reports
• Further assignments from the KESB and courts

Your profile

• Degree in Social Work FH/HFS/BSc
• Experience (at least internship) in statutory social work (social assistance and/or KES)
• Good IT skills (we work with the case management system KLIB)
• You are independent, committed, resilient and cope well even in challenging situations
• You work goal- and solution-oriented, are empathetic and can assert yourself when necessary. You are a team player, loyal and enjoy working systemically and interdisciplinarily
