Software Engineer Java/Kotlin Banking

Responsibilities

• Further development of market risk applications as well as future development steps
• Analysis of requirements from the business department, risk management (market & credit risk) and trading, and translation into technical specifications
• Design and implementation of new functions as well as further development of existing components in risk and trading applications
• Connection and further development of interfaces to surrounding systems (trading systems, market data, reference data, reporting, risk platforms)
• Ensuring performance, stability and maintainability of applications, especially with regard to intraday and end-of-day processing
• Execution of unit, integration and regression tests as well as support during functional acceptance tests
• Participation in error analysis and correction (3rd-level support) within the scope of application operations

Requirements

• Several years of experience as an application developer in the banking sector
• Very good knowledge of Java, Kotlin, MS SQL, Linux, Kubernetes
• Fluent German and English skills

Advantageous

• Experience in the areas of market and credit risk, market data, trading systems, reporting

• Creativity and out-of-the-box thinking
• Team player with a structured way of working
