• recording orders in the TMS
• obtaining clearance instructions
• planning and organising sea freight transports
• coordinating pre-carriage, shipping and delivery
• handling customs formalities
• negotiating freight rates and conditions
• providing comprehensive customer advice
• forwarding or notifying shipment information
• initiating measures in case of delivery delays or damages
Requirements
• completed commercial basic training, preferably as a freight forwarding clerk
• practical professional experience in sea freight
• knowledge of Swiss customs regulations desirable
