The Centre for Dental Medicine of the University of Zurich (ZZM) is an internationally recognised clinical, educational and research centre. Responsibilities
- Technical responsibility for the stable and secure operation of our central specialist applications and medical IT devices throughout their entire lifecycle
- Planning, coordination and support of maintenance work, releases, updates and changes in collaboration with internal and external partners
- Coordination of ICT requirements between the specialist departments, central IT and external suppliers
- Analysis of complex faults, coordination of their resolution and ensuring sustainable handling
- Analysis and targeted further development of existing technical and organisational processes
- Ensuring complete and up-to-date documentation
- Ensuring compliance with relevant requirements in the areas of information security, data protection and compliance
- Close collaboration with the professional application management
- Participation in ICT projects as well as in the introduction and replacement of specialist applications
Profile
- Completed degree (FH or university) in computer science, business informatics or ICT
- Several years of experience in technical application management
- Confident handling of IT service management processes, especially incident, problem, change and release management
- Sound knowledge in the operation and support of business-critical specialist applications as well as in the interaction of applications, interfaces and ICT infrastructure
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environments
- Experience in working with system suppliers and external ICT service providers
- Good understanding of business processes and the ability to translate professional requirements into technical solutions and contexts
- Knowledge in the areas of information security, data protection and compliance is an advantage
- Strong analytical, conceptual and structured skills
- Communication and coordination skills as well as enjoyment in working with different stakeholders
- Independent, reliable and responsible working style
- Strong quality and process understanding

With your technical and procedural know-how, you will make a significant contribution to the stability, security and further development of our ICT services and support the efficient organisation of processes in our clinics and central services. The employment is subject to cantonal conditions.
