Electrical engineering - more than half a century of experience. We design electrical, operational and safety systems and automate buildings. In addition, we take on overall planning, client support and site management. The Boess Group employs around 125 people. Your daily work with us
- You take overall responsibility for the Public Transport (PT) market area within the Boess Group
- You directly lead employees as well as team leaders with their teams and promote their professional and personal development
- You create clear structures, define goals and ensure effective collaboration within the market area
- You manage demanding projects and overall mandates in the PT environment and ensure compliance with costs, deadlines, quality and customer satisfaction
- You are responsible for resource planning, utilisation and prioritisation within the market area
- You develop competencies purposefully, recognise market and customer needs early and build new business areas and capabilities
- You maintain existing customer relationships, expand your network in the PT industry and acquire new mandates
- You represent the market area to customers, partners and internal stakeholders
- As a member of the executive board, you contribute your market and leadership experience to the strategic development of the Boess Group
What you bring with you
- Completed studies at ETH, FH or HF as an engineer or technician, preferably related to electrical engineering, railway technology, building technology or infrastructure
- Business management training, project management training or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in managing demanding projects in the PT, infrastructure or electrical engineering sectors
- Good knowledge of the PT industry as well as the requirements of railways, transport companies and public clients
- Leadership experience in managing project managers, team leaders or interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to promote people, delegate responsibility and successfully bring together different disciplines
- Entrepreneurial thinking as well as enjoyment in customer care, acquisition and business development
- Strong decision-making ability and overview even in demanding situations
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form; other national languages are an advantage
