Senior Software Engineer – IoT & Energy Systems (m/f) 100%

Your main tasks

• Design, develop and maintain an application (Windows and Android) allowing the configuration and setting of Sontex products and equipment via optical and NFC communication interfaces.
• Design, develop and evolve a radio reading platform intended for managing remote metering infrastructures.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to production deployment.
• Ensure code quality by applying best development practices, modern methods and test automation.
• Collaborate closely with external partners, Product Management, Hardware/Firmware teams, sales teams and customers.
• Contribute to the planning, development and deployment of new software releases.
• Provide level 3 technical support for software solutions.
• Write, maintain and evolve technical documentation related to software developments.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent training.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial application development with Java.
• Experience in designing complex applications interacting with connected devices or distributed systems.
• Experience with version control tools, continuous integration and automated testing.
• Autonomous, responsible and with a good spirit of initiative, you communicate easily and know how to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Appreciated knowledge:

- Android

- Microservice architecture

- Jetpack Compose, Kotlin APIs

- Radio communication protocols (NFC, LoRaWAN, wMBus)

- Java FX

- SQL database

• Very good command of French and English (minimum B2 level); basic knowledge of German.
