Team Leader: Strategic Purchasing (all)

Your tasks

• You analyse the procurement market and further develop category strategies within the lead buyer structures of BKW.
• You manage supplier relationships, are responsible for contracts, and conduct price and performance negotiations.
• You optimise material requirements and disposition processes, accompany prototypes, sampling as well as pilot series, thereby ensuring availability and cost-effectiveness.
• You further develop purchasing processes in terms of quality, cost and time and drive digital solutions as well as KPI-based controlling forward.
• You lead and develop your purchasing team of one to two employees both professionally and disciplinarily.
• You work closely within the international purchasing community of BKW and report directly to the Head of Procurement BKW Infra Services.

Your expertise

• You have a commercial or technical basic education and further training in purchasing, supply chain management or business administration.
• You have several years of experience in strategic and operational purchasing in an industrial or project-related environment.
• Ideally, you bring experience in the professional and disciplinary leadership of a small team.
• You negotiate confidently, assert yourself persuasively and act cost-consciously.
• You think analytically, enjoy developing processes and systems further, and work proficiently with ERP systems and digital purchasing solutions.
• You communicate fluently in German, well in English, and convince with team spirit.
