As an Accounting Supervisor (m/f/d), you are the central financial contact person for a portfolio of hotels, restaurants, and outlets at Andermatt Swiss Alps. You connect operations and finance, lead a team of accounting specialists professionally, and ensure that financial statements, controls, and processes run at a high level.


What you can achieve

• You are the first point of contact for financial matters in your portfolio of hotels, restaurants, and outlets.
• You coordinate the daily accounting activities in accounts payable, accounts receivable, income audit, and general ledger.
• You manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and review balance reconciliations and documentation.
• You support the preparation of financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER and USALI and investigate significant variances.
• You lead your team professionally, coach them, and set priorities, even without direct line management.
• You are the first escalation point for finance-related operational issues and the bridge between operations and finance.
• You ensure compliance with policies, internal controls, and procedures and identify process weaknesses.
• You drive standardisation, automation, and system improvements and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

• Commercial apprenticeship, accounting qualification, or comparable education in finance, accounting, or business administration
• 5 or more years of accounting experience, ideally in hospitality or other service-oriented environments
• Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, income audit, and general ledger highly desirable
• Experience in coordinating or leading accounting teams, leadership experience is an advantage but not mandatory
• Confident knowledge of ERP systems (SUN, SAP, or Oracle) and Excel, experience with AP/AR automation (e.g., Yooz) and BI platforms (e.g., Power BI) is an advantage
• Familiarity with hotel-specific systems (e.g., Opera PMS) and good understanding of Swiss GAAP FER and USALI
• Analytical, precise, and solution-oriented working style

• German and English, one language at native level and the other at least at B2 level
