Garage B. Schmid AG has been one of the leading car garages in Northwestern Switzerland for over 50 years. As the main dealer for the Honda and Toyota brands, we serve customers in the Basel region and provide competent advice when purchasing vehicles. With our own brand "Edition-Schmid," we also offer customised tuning vehicles and professional tuning services, making us well known throughout Switzerland.

To strengthen our sales team, we are looking for a committed, customer-oriented, and sales-strong personality with enthusiasm for the automotive industry.

Your tasks

• Competent and personalised customer advice
• Sale of new Honda and Toyota cars, used vehicles, as well as vehicles from the AVB car rental fleet
• Preparation of quotations and professional handling of trade-in transactions
• Sale of vehicle accessories and individual tuning solutions
• Organisation and execution of vehicle deliveries
• Active acquisition of new customers as well as care and maintenance of our existing customer base
• Management and presentation of our vehicle inventory
• Participation in sales exhibitions and vehicle presentations

What you bring

• Passion for automobiles and enjoyment of sales
• Sales experience and/or training in the automotive industry is an advantage
• Strong customer and service orientation as well as negotiation skills
• Ability to recognise customer needs and offer suitable solutions
• Independent, reliable, and structured working style
• Positive demeanour, well-groomed appearance, and convincing manners
• Valid category B driving licence
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form; English and French skills are an advantage
