Your tasks and responsibilities
In this demanding sales role, you are responsible for market development with switchgear manufacturers in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. You identify market potentials, develop customer relationships purposefully, and successfully position our products and systems in the field of electrical power distribution in the market. In doing so, you work closely with internal specialists, channel partners, and external stakeholders and make a direct contribution to the sustainable growth of the business.
Your main tasks are:
You are responsible for achieving sales, growth, and profitability targets and actively develop sales in your divisions. You identify new market opportunities, build a sustainable sales pipeline in Salesforce, and derive targeted measures for business development.
You accompany demanding customer projects from opportunity to successful completion and develop tailored technical and commercial solutions together with internal departments and channel partners.
You coordinate all relevant stakeholders – from planners to switchgear manufacturers and internal contacts – and ensure a professional, efficient sales process.
You maintain long-term customer relationships, recognise needs early, and convince through professional advice, confident sales negotiations, and a first-class customer experience throughout the entire sales cycle.
You proactively identify projects via databases, project platforms, and tender portals, follow up offers in a structured manner, and ensure technical and commercial accuracy in coordination with the quotation department. You communicate bindingly about delivery times, payment terms, and contractual conditions.
Requirements for the position
Several years of successful experience in technical or project sales, ideally in the areas of switchgear, power distribution, or building technology.
Solid technical education with relevant further training or studies, preferably in the field of electrical engineering and power distribution.
Confident management of complex sales processes and convincing communication with customers at different decision-making levels.
Strong ability to build and sustainably maintain long-term customer relationships with a focus on partnership-based advice and business development.
Strategic consulting competence beyond products, especially regarding business models, market positioning, and differentiating features.
Structured and solution-oriented working style with high prioritisation skills and confident handling of dynamic requirements and pressure situations.
Team-oriented, proactive personality with professional communication, cross-departmental collaboration, and active knowledge sharing.
