IT Application & Operations Manager

Our software solutions are used productively by customers every day and support business-critical processes. To ensure our applications function reliably, stable operations, secure systems, functioning interfaces, and competent technical support are required.

Therefore, we are looking for a committed individual who takes responsibility for the operation of our Siddhartha and Sumex II applications, supports our customers with technical queries, and coordinates collaboration with our infrastructure and technology partners.

Your tasks

• Ensuring the stable and secure operation of our Siddhartha and Sumex II applications
• Planning, coordinating, and executing security patches, software updates, and maintenance work
• Monitoring applications and systems as well as analysing and resolving technical faults
• Technical implementation and support of tariff updates and configuration changes
• Support and monitoring of interfaces to external partners such as Comparis, as well as analysing and resolving interface issues
• Handling customer enquiries in first- and second-level support, including independent analysis and resolution of technical problems
• Coordinating complex support cases with our software developers and external partners
• Collaboration with our infrastructure partner, especially in creating, processing, and tracking operations tickets
• Coordinating and accompanying infrastructure changes, maintenance work, and technical adjustments
• Continuous optimisation of our operational, monitoring, and support processes as well as maintaining technical documentation

Your profile

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience in application management, IT operations, or technical application support
• Very good technical understanding of business applications, IT infrastructures, and interfaces
• Experience in analysing and resolving technical faults as well as handling monitoring and ticketing systems
• Knowledge in IT security, especially security patching and secure application operation; experience with ISO 27001 is an advantage
• Experience in collaborating with internal and external infrastructure and technology partners
• Knowledge of databases, SQL, APIs, scripting languages (e.g. Powershell), or web services
• Experience in the Swiss healthcare or insurance sector as well as knowledge of tariff structures is a plus
• Strong customer and service orientation as well as enjoyment in working with diverse contacts
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style as well as a high sense of responsibility
• Very good German and good English skills
