In this key role, you will gradually take over the overall technical responsibility for our resistive-capacitive high voltage voltage dividers (AC/DC) as a motivated all-rounder.

You combine product engineering and development, solve demanding customer and field issues, and lead development projects from the initial idea to series production readiness. Your place of work is Hirschthal / Aargau. Here, as a central technical interface, you connect product engineering, development, order management, production, test laboratory, and sales.

Your tasks

As a product expert, you accompany our high voltage voltage dividers throughout their entire lifecycle, combining deep technical work with genuine scope for design. Specifically, the role is divided into 50% product engineering and 50% product development.

Product engineering (50%)

Central technical contact person for design, industrialisation, production, purchasing, test field, etc.

Innovative solution finding for customer-specific requirements

Support of sales through technical advice and presentations to international customers

Technical fault analyses including report creation.

Optimisation of manufacturing processes

• Development and further advancement of own calculation programmes (together with internal software development)

Product development (50%)

• Management of development projects, from idea to finished product.
• Coordination of internal and external stakeholders
• Technical development and design of prototypes
• Data analysis and professional interpretation
• Simulation of electric fields and circuits
• Literature research
• Coordination of fundamental studies at partner universities

What you bring

• Completed studies in electrical engineering or comparable qualification
• Experience in high voltage technology or strong motivation to familiarise yourself with the subject area
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team in an interdisciplinary environment
• Enjoyment of diverse technical challenges in electrical engineering, materials science, mechanics, and thermodynamics
• Pronounced analytical skills and strategic thinking ability
• Initiative, structured working style, and groundedness
• Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
