The Zurich University of Teacher Education actively shapes education, school and teaching of today and tomorrow in teaching and research. The Primary Level Department is responsible for the training of primary school teachers. It currently offers three bachelor programmes as well as subject and level extensions that impart fundamental competences for teaching at the primary level.
The Primary Level Office ensures comprehensive, smooth coordination and administration of the programmes. Are you an organisational talent with a quick grasp, structured working method and initiative? This is what you will do.
- You coordinate and administer the full-time and part-time primary level programme in close cooperation with the programme management and ensure smooth running of the associated processes.
- You advise and support students in administrative matters and are the first point of contact for telephone and written enquiries.
- You process student changes, module administration, credit transfers for prior achievements as well as graduation and study progression processes.
- You maintain student data and information platforms, support communication with students and collaborate with various internal stakeholders.
- You take on deputising roles within the team and actively contribute to the further development of processes.
This is what you bring with you.
- Completed commercial training and several years of professional experience in a comparable administrative role
- Confident German language skills, both spoken and written
- Proficient use of digital tools (MS Office, knowledge of Evento is an advantage)
- Strong service orientation, organisational skills and enjoyment in advising and handling diverse tasks
- Precise, efficient and independent working style with a high standard of quality
- Open, committed, communicative and humorous personality with strong social skills and ability to work in a team
