What you can achieve

• You ensure the stable operation and availability of the supported SAP applications in the SCM area and accompany them throughout their entire lifecycle.
• In cases of incidents, problems, and changes, you are the first point of contact in your area of responsibility. You analyse disruptions, coordinate solutions, and keep an eye on interfaces as well as background processes.
• You gather requirements from the specialist departments, further develop suitable SAP solutions, and support their implementation and testing.
• You work closely with key users, BPC, and external partners and support users in their daily business.
• You keep documentation up to date and ensure knowledge transfer. Participation in on-call and standby duty is also part of the role.

What you bring with you

• You have completed basic training and relevant further education, for example in business informatics, computer science, or supply chain management, or have a comparable qualification.
• You are familiar with operational processes in at least one of the areas of logistics, procurement, production, or maintenance and have experience in the SAP environment.
• You bring knowledge in one or more SAP modules, for example MM, WM/EWM, PP-PI, or PM/EAM.
• You enjoy working at the interface between IT and the specialist department. Experience in application management, SAP customising, or with interfaces is an advantage.
• You are confident in using SAP and common Microsoft 365 applications and have very good German as well as good English skills.
