Head of Animal Health Department

Your Tasks

• Management of the Animal Health Enforcement Department in both professional and personnel matters
• As head of department, you are part of the official cadre and responsible for the timely processing (including procedural management and case handling) of the matters assigned to your department
• Organisation of official controls in the field of animal health
• Issuing administrative measures and sanctions
• Preparation of control protocols, control and official reports as well as official decisions
• Professional exchange with authorities and third parties

Your Profile

• Completed studies in veterinary medicine
• Completed further training as an Official Veterinarian
• Several years of professional and leadership experience, preferably in veterinary enforcement services
• High initiative and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
• Social skills and organisational talent
• Resilience, confident appearance and assertiveness
• Fluent oral and written expression in German
• Willingness to participate in the on-call and standby service of the Veterinary Office
• Driving licence category B
