The Child and Adult Protection Authority KESB is there for people in need. Those who need help and support can count on KESB. No day is like another with us. In the interdisciplinary team, we actively shape a safe future for vulnerable adults, families, children and young people.

We are looking for a lawyer for the KESB Graubünden, Engadin/Southern Valleys branch, from 1 March 2027 or by arrangement.

Your area of responsibility

• Support and advice to authority members and legal representatives on substantive and formal legal issues (child and adult protection law, matrimonial and inheritance law, real estate transactions, insurance law, private international law)
• Independent processing of assigned cases, including transactions requiring consent (Art. 416 ZGB)
• Drafting decisions in the assigned cases
• Secretariat duties for the authority
• Active participation in various project groups (e.g. practice development, legislative revisions)
• Minute-taking at hearings

What we expect from you

• University degree in law
• Professional experience, preferably in a law firm or court, and solid knowledge of private law
• Independent, resilient, flexible and networked thinking personality
• Very good oral and written expression in German, knowledge of Italian is desirable, further foreign language skills are an advantage
• Prudent, efficient and precise working style
• High service orientation and ability to work in an interdisciplinary team
• Proven social competence and empathy towards people in difficult life situations
