For the location Visp, Switzerland, we are currently looking for a Shift Employee in QC. As a member of our QC shift team, you are responsible in the 4-shift system for performing and releasing time-critical samples (GC, HPLC, Titration UV, pH, etc.) in compliance with ISO and internal guidelines. Maintenance of existing infrastructures is also part of your duties.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Independent execution, especially of time-critical IPC analyses as well as tests on products and laboratory samples (e.g., GC, HPLC, Titration, UV, pH).
- Regulatory-compliant, complete documentation of all results according to ISO standards and internal guidelines.
- Control and simple troubleshooting of analytical instruments.
- Support of smooth processes in the QC shift laboratory and active contribution to continuous improvement.
Qualification and experience:
- Completed vocational training (e.g., laboratory field, chemistry, analytics or similar).
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written.
- Initial experience in analytics is an advantage.
- Teamwork, responsibility, resilience as well as clear and constructive communication.
- High quality awareness as well as efficient, reliable, and independent working style.
- Good comprehension and confident handling of potentially hazardous substances.
- Proficient use of PC and common standard software.
