Our client is an independent architectural firm in Basel. The office handles exciting architectural tasks of various scales – from urban planning to conversions and new builds to interior design. The focus is on conceptual clarity, high design quality and responsible implementation.

For the further development of the team, we are looking for an experienced architect who wants to take on responsibility and contribute professionally in the long term.

Your possible role: Senior Architect – Design / Project Management

Two different experienced profile directions are interesting:

Focus on Design & Concept

• You bring particular strength in design and conceptual development and want to decisively shape projects already in early phases. You work on competitions, project developments and architectural concepts, develop projects together with the team and increasingly take on professional, but also personnel responsibility if interested.

Or more focused on: Project Management & Implementation

• You independently lead architectural projects through several relevant project phases and combine organisational confidence with a high design standard. You coordinate clients, specialist planners, authorities and internal project teams and ensure that architectural quality is maintained in further project development and realisation.

What both profiles have in common:

You understand architecture as an interplay of design, conceptual clarity, design quality, responsibility, collaboration and professional implementation. You want to take responsibility and contribute in the long term to the development of a committed architectural office.  

PERSONALITY, preferably senior – completed architecture studies – high architectural and design quality – desire to take responsibility – independent and proactive

Archicad 3D is relevant for our client’s workflow. Solid experience with comparable digital planning and BIM processes can also be interesting depending on the profile. Good English skills are an advantage.

• Completed architecture studies at ETH, FH or a professionally comparable qualification
• Several years of relevant professional experience at a senior level
• High architectural and design quality
• Independent and responsible working style
• Very good German skills for professional collaboration with project participants

• Experience with digital planning processes
