Axepta is looking, for one of its clients based in the Montreux region and active in the aerospace sector, for a Non-Destructive Testing Technician – NDT Level II (M/F).

You will be involved in the inspection of parts, welded assemblies and composite panels intended for aerospace applications, in an environment demanding in terms of quality, traceability and compliance.

Your main tasks will be:

• Perform non-destructive testing in accordance with applicable procedures and requirements.
• Carry out fluorescent and/or coloured penetrant testing to detect surface defects.
• Conduct eddy current testing using probes to identify cracks and discontinuities.
• Perform ultrasonic testing according to your qualifications and current procedures.
• Interpret test results and decide on the conformity of parts.
• Identify, document and report any non-conformities.
• Write inspection reports and ensure traceability of the operations performed.
• Ensure compliance with quality requirements specific to the aerospace sector.

Profile sought

You hold a COFREND Level II certification in one or more NDT methods.

Ideally, you have experience in an industrial, laboratory or production environment on welded parts and/or composite materials, preferably in the aeronautical, space or defence sectors.

You master one or more of the following techniques: penetrant testing, eddy currents, ultrasonics.

Experience with composite panels, sandwich structures or parts intended for aerospace is a real asset.
