About the job
We have a variety of important professions that require specialised knowledge. That is why we rely on people who want to reorient and develop professionally, for example after parental leave. You will receive an attractive salary already during the retraining. After the career change, you will then work on an equal footing with your colleagues.
This is what to expect during the retraining:
- The retraining takes place over 3 months full-time (39 hours/week) and consists of theoretical and practical teaching sections
- The theoretical lessons take place at the Berlin location, your practical assignments usually take place at the later place of deployment
- You complete the retraining with a theoretical and practical examination
- The training classes consist of approx. 12 participants
After the retraining, you will take on the following tasks:
- You actively advise and support our customers on and in the train
- You provide timetable and fare information and give information about connecting services and irregularities
- The control and sale of tickets are your responsibility
- You are responsible for order and safety on the train
- With high service quality, you increase the satisfaction of our customers
- Collaboration with colleagues, such as train drivers, service staff or security personnel, is part of your daily routine
Your profile:
- Ideally, you have successfully completed vocational training, e.g. as a hotel clerk, flight attendant, salesperson, retail salesman or relevant experience in the service sector
- You are familiar with handling mobile devices
- You have acquired conflict and communication skills in your professional life
- Customer and service awareness are natural to you
- You have a neat and friendly appearance as well as the willingness to wear company clothing
- Irregular shift work does not bother you
- A valid driving licence class B is an advantage
