About us
Spielzeit is a non-profit psychological specialist centre in Zurich. For over 40 years, we have been supporting children, adolescents and adults with disabilities, neurodiversity or illness, as well as their families and caregivers. In addition to psychotherapy, diagnostics and counselling, we offer case consultations, supervisions and training for professionals and institutions.
To complement our assistant team, we are looking from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement for a versatile personality who thinks ahead, takes initiative and wants to grow into a demanding responsibility between executive management and practice organisation. Together with the senior assistant, you will support the executive director of Spielzeit and MLFI and ensure that the goals for the specialist centre, foundation and team are implemented: you enjoy keeping an overview and accompanying the processes. On three days a week, you will support the telephone service and be the first point of contact for families and specialist centres seeking help.
Your tasks
Your tasks include:
- Supporting the executive director in practice organisation and personnel management; within agreed processes, you act independently
- Preparing and managing our offers for professionals as well as for patients
- Receiving telephone enquiries from families, specialist centres and institutions, clarifying the concern and forwarding it
- Participating in foundation projects and further developing administrative processes
- Preparing and following up on meetings
Your profile
- Completed commercial training or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience (around five years) in office, assistance or administration, as well as the ambition to develop into an executive assistant
- You learn quickly, think ahead, even unsolicited, set priorities and represent them
- Structured, careful and reliable working style, organisational talent and discretion
- Fluent German at native speaker level, good English skills, confident use of Microsoft 365
- Reliable presence on fixed working days from 8:00 am
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration with psychology and medicine
What we offer
- A development position: you will gradually grow into the responsibility of executive assistant between management and practice organisation with support
- A varied and responsible role with plenty of room for independence
- A appreciative, collegial and interdisciplinary working environment
- Real scope for design, your own files and room for professional development
- A meaningful task in a specialised psychological and non-profit environment
Workload and working days
The workload is 70%. Fixed working days are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, plus a half day by arrangement. Work starts at 8:00 am; on Wednesday and Friday you open the specialist centre. The workload can be well combined with part-time further education.
Workplace
The workplace is Spielzeit at Spyristrasse 7 in 8044 Zurich. The activity is carried out entirely on site; home office is not provided for this position.
