(Senior) SAP Expert Variant Configuration (80-100%)

As (Senior) SAP Expert Variant Configuration, you will take end-to-end ownership of our Product Configuration Lifecycle Management architecture and shape the future of our global SAP landscape. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and international teams to design scalable, high-performing, and integrated solutions based on SAP Variant Configuration. Your role is key to enabling innovative business models and product offering strategies while ensuring top-level data quality. 

• Collaborate closely with internal business stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Own the end-to-end variant configuration solution architecture across SAP, CPQ, PLM, and connected platforms.
• Design and guide integrated configuration solutions to ensure a seamless flow of configuration, pricing, and master data across connected systems.
• Build and maintain SAP LO-VC models hands-on (high-level configuration).
• Analyze requirements beyond standard Variant Configuration modeling and define specifications for development enhancements.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams within a global IT environment.
• Manage external partners and modelers, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Evaluate new technologies and innovations in configuration and CPQ solutions and assess their value for Belimo. 

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
• Extensive hands-on experience with SAP LO-VC, including material variant concepts and their application in complex configuration processes.
• Proven experience designing and supporting solution landscapes where SAP LO-VC is integrated with external configuration engines.
• Deep expertise in SAP ERP logistics processes and VC-related integration scenarios.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into scalable solution concepts.
• Experience with SAP VCP/CPS, CPQ solutions, SAP Commerce (Hybris), PLM environments (preferably Siemens Teamcenter), or ABAP development is considered a strong asset.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across global teams; fluent in English, German is an advantage, and legally authorized to work in Switzerland.
