Join our four-person team now! Due to retirement, we are able to fill an exciting role as Clerk: Inbound Control Centre.
In this role, you are the central operational hub for inbound-related material flow issues. You take on the planning and coordination of deliveries. For this, you prepare documents, perform administrative goods receipt tasks, and ensure transparent, binding feedback to all relevant interfaces.
Your area of responsibility:
- You receive goods notifications (free domicile and FOB)
- You prepare goods receipt documents, cost tariffs as well as freight and delivery papers and manage these
- You initiate cross-docking, print orders and ensure the complete handover at the goods receipt ramp
- Registration and acceptance of drivers as well as coordination of arrival and delivery information
- You perform WMS goods receipt bookings, create storage labels and actively participate in the division of labour with the goods receipt ramp
- Actively track enquiries, clarification cases, express cases and deviations including status maintenance, responsibility, next steps and scheduling
- You perform the labelling service and create re-labelling and price labels for cartons, items, suppliers as well as internal needs and rework
- You carry out inventory control and handle areas such as stock reconciliation, packages without barcodes, clarification cases, lost & found and audits
Our requirements:
- You have a commercial or logistics basic education with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ)
- Initial experience with administrative processes and document handling
- Interest in working in the logistics environment, inbound processes and systems
- A good understanding of material flow, inventory and labelling processes is an advantage
- You bring good user knowledge of MS Office and are familiar with working with WMS
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form, ideally complemented by good English skills
- You are inclined to prioritise cases, coordinate responsibilities and keep deadlines in view
- You describe yourself as an absolute team player and your profile is rounded off by your structured, precise and reliable way of working
