Experienced professionals from electrical engineering and electrical installation support our customers in their projects and develop individual solutions with them.

As Purchasing Manager and specialist at AWAG Elektrotechnik AG, you will take on a responsible key position at the division manager level. You define and optimise processes to ensure economical procurement of goods. By maintaining existing suppliers, further expanding a powerful supplier network, and operationally implementing the purchasing process, especially order processing, deadline monitoring, and data maintenance, you ensure timely material availability. Operational

• Communication with suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers
• Order processing / order proposals
• Control of deadlines and delivery capabilities
• Price and master data maintenance
• Participation in ERP developments

Strategic

• Active development / management of the purchasing department
• Supplier selection, qualification, evaluation
• Price and contract negotiation with suppliers
• Assortment design in coordination with product managers
• Purchasing controlling
• Market observation, raw material developments, alternatives

You bring with you

• Purchasing specialist with a federal certificate
• Practical experience in a similar role in an electrical engineering SME
• Cost-conscious personality and a strong negotiation partner
• Interest in a broad range of tasks and fluent communication in German and English
• Initiative personality with an independent and systematic working style
• Experience with Opacc (ERP) or another ERP such as SAP
