Compliance Officer AML 80 – 100%
What you will achieve
- You analyse and assess escalated anomalies from areas such as TmeR, GmeR, PEP, Name Matching or Adverse Media and clarify complex matters in depth.
- In addition, you conduct further sanctions checks, taking into account embargo legislation and other applicable requirements, such as the FATF High Risk Jurisdictions.
- You support management in the conceptual further development of the frameworks for risk parameters.
- You prepare the basis for reports and training materials and participate in the delivery of training sessions.
- You actively contribute your own ideas and optimisation proposals to improve processes and workflows. You also work on internal bank projects in the AML area.
- You provide expert advice to the operational compliance units and front-line staff on AML-relevant issues.
What you bring with you
- You have completed a degree, preferably in law, or have completed a banking apprenticeship with appropriate further training.
- You bring several years of experience in the compliance environment, especially in anti-money laundering (AML) and financial crime compliance.
- You have strong analytical and conceptual skills. Knowledge of the core banking system Avaloq is an advantage.
- You prepare complex matters in a structured and comprehensible manner. You impress with your excellent written communication skills.
- You are characterised by a reliable and solution-oriented way of working as well as your ability to work in a team, communication skills and discretion.
