Clerk IV Vocational Measures and Pensions 80 - 100% (m/f/d)
The IV is a compulsory basic insurance. Among other things, it provides support with benefits when illness or accident affects the ability to work. Every IV process begins with a person registering to receive IV benefits. This is where the employees of the IV Vocational Measures/Pensions team come in: They check whether all formalities are fulfilled and are responsible for early detection and the administrative case processing of insurance benefits. Furthermore, they initiate revisions of ongoing IV pensions.
Your tasks
- Independent processing of IV applications from registration to decision in the benefit areas of vocational reintegration measures, daily allowances and invalidity pension
- Obtaining and assessing medical and work-related documents as well as clarifying the benefit-relevant requirements
- Conducting initial interviews with the insured together with reintegration and career advisors
- Drafting and justifying the IV decision
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with internal specialist departments (career advisors, reintegration advisors, RAD doctors, invoice control and legal service)
- Providing written, telephone and personal information to insured persons and third parties
Your profile
- Medical and/or commercial training
- Several years of professional experience in a demanding clerical role in the field of social insurances
- Further training in the social insurance sector is an advantage
- Resilient personality with high social competence and ability to work in a team
- Enjoyment in advising and supporting people as well as dealing with legal regulations
- Independent, efficient and goal-oriented working style as well as networked thinking and acting with strong customer orientation
