Job description:

Join our dynamic and innovative team committed to the digital transformation of our industrial clients. As a Java Expert specialising in the redesign and evolution of PLM applications, you will be at the heart of projects to modernise, secure and optimise existing solutions, with a strong focus on architecture, software quality and integration.

Responsibilities:

Analyse existing code and evolution needs identified during impact analyses
Design solutions compatible with new business and technical requirements
Implement necessary refactorings and restructurings to secure and modernise Java applications
Secure deliveries through test scenario inventory, progressive test autonomy and demonstration of non-regression, notably via integration tests with other systems (ERP, API, etc.)
Develop and maintain Java backend and web applications, using JDK 21+
Create and consume REST APIs for integration with business systems
Use bug trackers and CI/CD tools, preferably GitLab CI, to ensure continuous integration
Perform unit tests, automated API tests (Bruno) and automated UI tests (Playwright)
Master authentication protocols and SSO
Use data exchange tools (queuing, streaming, blob storage)
Design, develop and implement PLM solutions, notably around Windchill

About you:

5+ years of experience in Java development, with expertise in redesign and evolution of applications
Proficient in Java backend development (JDK 21+) and web applications
Experience with REST APIs (creation and consumption)
Experience with bug tracking and CI/CD tools, ideally GitLab CI
Mastery of authentication protocols and SSO
Experience using data exchange tools (queuing, streaming, blob storage)
Experience with unit tests, automated API tests (Bruno) and automated UI tests (Playwright)
Experience with PLM solutions, ideally Windchill
Fluent English. German or another language is a plus.
Higher education in computer science, software development or equivalent
Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
Demonstrates rigour, autonomy and analytical mindset
Solution-oriented and proactive
