The EOC, the multi-site hospital of Ticino, is present with its institutes throughout the entire cantonal territory for a total of 1,000 beds. Profile

The Infectious Diseases service of the Lugano Regional Hospital is part of the multi-site Infectious Diseases Service and is a reference centre for outpatient management of complex infectious cases, vaccinations, travel medicine, and specialist consultations for inpatients (AMI Link). It is recognised by the FMH as an infectious diseases training centre (1 year).

Essential requirements:

• degree/diploma in medicine and specialisation in infectious diseases with corresponding registration in MedReg before starting work. For doctors with foreign qualifications: recognition by the Federal Commission for Medical Professions MEBEKO and corresponding registration in MedReg before starting work are mandatory
• proven knowledge of the Italian language (required level at least B2) with corresponding registration in MedReg before starting work, knowledge of other national languages and English is desirable
• strong willingness and aptitude for teamwork
• constructive and proactive attitude
• proficiency in IT tools.
