The Special Needs Education School Centre (HPSZ): One school - four locations. We teach and support our pupils holistically and individually from kindergarten age to school leaving. Our diverse educational offerings enable good academic, social, and personal development. For the HPSZ Olten we are seeking, from 01.01.2027 or by arrangement, a fixed-term school special needs educator, 34% until 31.07.2027.
Your responsibilities
- You take partial responsibility for a class of eight pupils and work closely with the class teacher and the class team.
- Your work takes place in a lower school class on a fixed day per week.
- You share responsibility for planning and implementing the individual support plans for the pupils. This also includes participating in parent meetings, coordination tasks, and writing reports and support documentation.
- Together with the educational staff, you are responsible for collaboration and organisation within the class team.
Your profile
- You have training in school special needs education (SHP) or a teaching diploma. Alternatively, you are in training for SHP or in the EDK recognition process.
- You enjoy working with children, especially in the areas of cognition and communication support.
- You consider the individual needs of the children and adapt your teaching methods and support offerings accordingly.
- Good relationship and communication skills as well as a strong team spirit characterise you, as does your resilience in challenging situations.
