What matters to us
Time for leadership and resident contact
Do you want to take on responsibility without losing contact with the people you are there for?
Then this could be your next career step.
As deputy ward manager, you combine leadership and nursing with us: you support the ward manager in organising and leading the ward and take responsibility in their absence. At the same time, you remain present in daily nursing care and close to our residents.
To allow for both, fixed office days are scheduled for your leadership duties.
Your tasks
- Together with the ward manager, you ensure a well-organised daily ward routine and support the leadership of the nursing team.
- In the absence of the ward manager, you act as their deputy and ensure smooth operations.
- You take responsibility in day-to-day business, set priorities, and are the contact person for employees.
- You accompany and support employees in their professional and personal development.
- As a nursing specialist HF/FH, you continue to work directly in the care and support of our approximately 45 residents.
- You share responsibility for high-quality nursing and care and further develop it together with the team.
- You promote an open, appreciative collaboration within the team as well as with relatives and other internal and external parties.
- With your ideas and experience, you actively shape the further development of our ward.
Your profile
- Qualification as a certified nursing specialist HF/FH or an equivalent qualification recognised in Switzerland
- Professional experience in long-term care
- Enjoyment in taking responsibility and leading and supporting people
- Leadership experience is an advantage – more important to us is your willingness to develop further in this role
- An independent, structured, and reliable working style
- Empathy and enjoyment in contact with elderly people
- Team spirit, openness, and clear, appreciative communication
- Good German language skills, spoken and written
What you can look forward to...

- Additional compensation for work on weekends and public holidays
- Flex bonus – short-notice cover is rewarded with a bonus
- Holidays – at least 5 weeks’ holiday for all employees
