Leadership, coaching and further development of a small team of credit risk managers while fostering a cooperative and high-performance working environment
Responsibility for the ongoing assessment, measurement and reporting of credit and collateral risks across various portfolios and products
Development and implementation of robust methods, models and stress test scenarios for Lombard loans
Ensuring timely and accurate monitoring of loan-to-value ratios as well as the effectiveness of processes in collateral value management
Collaboration with the front office, risk controlling and other internal departments to identify and mitigate emerging credit risks
Preparation of comprehensive reports and presentations for credit committees and relevant boards
Monitoring regulatory developments and proven industry practices in credit and collateral risk management to ensure compliance
Participation in the assessment and structuring of special Lombard transactions
Contribution to the continuous improvement of risk monitoring and relevant processes
Master’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics or a related field; alternatively, a relevant university degree in banking and finance, business administration or a related discipline
Experience in credit or collateral risk management in the banking sector, preferably in private banking or asset management
Leadership experience in a team leader or management position is an advantage
Sound knowledge of credit risk methods, regulatory requirements and techniques for collateral valuation
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw actionable conclusions
Advanced Excel skills as well as experience with Avaloq, Bloomberg and data analysis or reporting tools (e.g. Power BI) are a great plus
Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
Good communication and interpersonal skills
