Professor for Data Engineering (m/f/d) (80%-100%)

Professor for Data Engineering

Your tasks

• You shape and develop the competence area of Data Engineering in teaching and research.
• You build your research team in your field.
• You teach at Bachelor and Master level and supervise student work.
• You independently acquire and manage internal and external research and service projects and engage in external continuing education.

Your qualifications

• You have a university degree in computer science, ideally with a doctorate, or an outstanding practical track record.
• You have a professional specialisation in the areas of Data Engineering and Data Science, and you have several years of practical proven experience in your field.
• You have experience teaching at tertiary level, ideally also with a didactic additional qualification.
• You bring demonstrable experience in project acquisition (industry projects and funded research).
• You have a good network in the field and in industry.
