To strengthen our team, we are looking for employees for dog handler service for the hospital area in Bern.

You ensure compliance with safety regulations and rules.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• All tasks of the security service
• Area and building surveillance with service dog
• Preventive presence
• Interventions
• Patient surveillance
• Safe handling of the service dog in public areas

Your Profile

• German at least B2
• Impeccable character (mandatory current criminal record extract, to be attached to the application)
• Recognised dog handler training
• Passed service dog examination
• Operational capability of the dog

Advantageous:

• Basic security service training
• Fire protection training
• De-escalation and aggression management
• BLS-AED certification
• Self-defence training
• Willingness to work day, night, weekend and public holiday shifts
• Safe working in sensitive hospital environments
• Experience as a service dog handler and a well-coordinated human-dog team
