Frontend Developer - B2B Digital Banking & App Development 80-100% (m/f/d)

Create digital experiences for our intermediary business

As part of an interdisciplinary agile team at LGT, you will help shape the digital experience for our stakeholders in the intermediary business. We are looking for a Frontend Developer who enjoys developing intuitive, reliable and accessible applications and translating complex banking processes into seamless user journeys.

You will work closely with our Senior Full Stack Developer as well as specialists from product, UI/UX, business analysis, testing and banking. Together you develop digital B2B services and applications that combine a convincing user experience with the underlying processes and systems - including our core banking system Avaloq.

• You design, develop and maintain responsive frontend applications and digital B2B apps.
• You translate requirements from business, customer perspective and UX into understandable and accessible user journeys.
• You collaborate with backend developers and other specialists to integrate applications with APIs and banking services.
• You contribute to the further development of B2B processes and their digital interfaces, including processes connected to Avaloq.
• You use AI-supported development tools thoughtfully to support implementation, testing, documentation and problem solving, while ensuring code quality and data protection.
• You ensure high standards regarding code quality, testing, security, performance and maintainability.
• You participate in code reviews, error analysis and continuous improvement of our development practices.
• You work closely with stakeholders in the agile team and accompany solutions from concept to implementation.

• Higher technical education or comparable practical experience in software or application development
• Practical experience in frontend and application development as well as interest in developing intuitive, high-quality digital products
• Solid understanding of modern frontend development practices, API integration, testing and accessibility
• DevOps knowledge, especially experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation, is an advantage
• Interest in AI-supported software development and the ability to critically assess and validate AI-generated results
• Conceptual and analytical skills as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Knowledge of Avaloq, Avaloq Script, Oracle SQL or banking processes is an advantage but not a requirement
• Experience in an agile development team is an advantage
• Good English skills in spoken and written form; German skills are a plus but not mandatory
• A team-oriented, communicative and proactive personality who takes responsibility and enjoys learning from others
